Older versions of Windows 10 will stop being supported on May 10 this year.
Microsoft warned customers again earlier that the old version of Windows 10 system will stop supporting on May 10 this year and will no longer provide security update services, calling on users to upgrade as soon as possible.
Microsoft pointed out that the 1909 and 20H2 versions of Windows 10 will officially end support services on May 10, including the Windows 10 Home Edition, Professional Edition, and Professional Education Edition released in October 2020.
In addition, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations for workstations will no longer receive security updates after May 10.
And Microsoft will use machine learning (ML) to let Windows 10 20H2 version users automatically upgrade to 21H2 version, and there is little difference in performance between the two versions.
As for all Windows 10 systems, it is not expected to officially say goodbye until October 2025, after which no security updates will be sent and a full switch to Windows 11 systems will be made.
