Qualcomm releases Wi-Fi 7 Networking Pro series. The third-generation professional networking platform opens the 10Gbps era.
Qualcomm announced the launch of the Qualcomm Networking Pro Series Gen 3 series platform supporting Wi-Fi 7.
This is Qualcomm’s third-generation professional networking platform, and samples are currently available to partners.
It is the world’s most scalable commercial Wi-Fi 7 network platform product portfolio for next-generation enterprise-grade access points, high-performance routers and operators. Gateway, supports 6 to 16 data stream network connections.
Qualcomm said the next-generation platform offers tri- and quad-band configurations, supports Wi-Fi connectivity in the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz spectrum, and combines Wi-Fi 7 capabilities with its intelligent multi-channel management technology for Wi-Fi 6 /6E end users deliver faster speeds, lower latency, higher network utilization, while preparing for the next generation of Wi-Fi 7 client devices.
The third-generation professional networking platform supports key features of Wi-Fi 7 including 320MHz channels, provides up to 33Gbps wireless interface capacity, and over 10Gbps peak throughput, Qualcomm’s Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) one-stop The service also provides support for the new platform, leveraging its peak performance in the 6GHz band.

- Qualcomm Networking Pro 1620 – Supports quad-band 16-channel data stream connections with a peak wireless capacity of 33.1Gbps, targeting stadiums, large enterprises and top-tier home mesh network systems.
- Qualcomm Networking Pro 1220 – Supports tri-band 12-stream connections with a peak wireless capacity of 21.6Gbps for enterprise, SMB, prosumer, and top-of-the-line home mesh networking systems.
- Qualcomm Networking Pro 820 – Supports quad-band 8-stream connections with a peak wireless capacity of 13.7Gbps, targeting enterprise, SMB, prosumer, and top-tier home mesh networking systems.
