BYD released smart watch with keyless function for BYD vehicles
More and more cars support the function of digital car keys. Car owners can unlock the doors or start the car as long as they approach the car with their smartphones or watches.
The Chinese auto brand announced earlier this month that it invited 20 car owners to participate in the smart watch car key experience event. As some participants shared unboxing videos, BYD also officially released the details of the smart watch car key.

Different from the square watch body patented by BYD before, the smart watch launched now is round, which is similar to ordinary smart watches on the market.
There are three buttons on the left and right sides of the body, the upper right corner is used to unlock the car, the lower right corner is the lock button, and the lower left corner is the power button.
BYD said that the smart watch has the same functions as the original car key, providing smart ignition, seamless entry, smart lock, window control and tailgate opening.
As a smart watch, it also has functions such as pedometer, heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, incoming call notification, daily waterproof and other functions.
BYD has not announced the screen size of the smart watch, but it has confirmed that the resolution is 360 x 360 and is protected by sapphire glass.
BYD said the watch has a built-in 200mAh battery, which can be used for 30 days as a backup or for 5 to 7 days of continuous use.
The 2023 BYD Dolphin is the first supported car model, and BYD is also actively considering equipping more new cars with digital car key functions.
